Daniel Whitmore

Daniel founded Barristar in 2003 after eight years in commercial litigation at a national firm. He appears regularly in the Supreme Court of Victoria on contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, and acts for a number of family-owned businesses that have been clients since the firm opened.

His practice is built on early assessment. Clients are told at the first meeting what their matter is realistically worth, what it will cost to run, and whether the commercial outcome justifies proceeding — including when the advice is to settle or walk away.
